Md Abulkalam AZAD and Abdelrahman Sayed Sayed Emam IBRAHIM, MIR Students from Intake 1, have participated in OCEANS 2023 conference held in Limerick (Ireland) from June 5th-8th, 2023.
OCEANS 2023 is a prestigious event for the Marine and Maritime Intelligent Robotics field, endorsed by the UN as an integral part of the Decade of Oceans Science for Sustainable Development.
Both students presented their thesis works in the technical sessions of the conference:
- Md Abulkalam AZAD’s topic is “Multi-label Video Classification for Underwater Ship Inspection”.
- Abdelrahman Sayed Sayed Emam IBRAHIM’s topic is “Risk Assessment of an Autonomous Underwater Snake Robot in Confined Operations”.
The conference was the occasion for them to meet with many professionals from various international countries and also to promote the EMJMD MIR by sharing their experience as students.
