Coronavirus update

In line with the lockdown measures against the spread of the Coronavirus currently in place in many countries, the campuses of the MIR consortium Main Partner universities are closed until further notice. Our top priority is always the health and safety of students and staff. We’re closely following the latest advice and guidance issued by the different governments. We will continue to take all appropriate and necessary steps, as required by the official advice, to keep our community safe.

We want to reassure you that we are doing everything we can to plan for all possible circumstances, and as the situation changes we will keep you updated.

To prospective students and offer holders

We understand that you may have concerns about the ongoing coronavirus outbreak.

Please know that the consortium is committed to doing everything in its power to deliver the programme as normal for September 2020 intake. Although we should expect to face some new modalities in the different processes and their timing (eg. visa application timeline), the application deadlines and enrolment process for September 2020 intake remain unchanged for now. We’re still hoping to begin the 2020/2021 academic year as usual in September 2020.

We are also working on preparing contingency plans to manage any precautions we all may have to take as the situation evolves. We’ll let you know of any changes in our pre-arrival communications.

If you have been selected to join the course in September 2020 as a self-funded student, you will be asked to pay an advance of 40% of the first year fees in order to reserve a place in the programme. At this stage, the refund policy allows a full refund of the advance in the case of a withdrawal for a serious proven reason like health or (death or illness of family member). The coronavirus is considered a force majore and should the situation prevent participation in the programme the advance will be refunded.

We’ll continue to issue any further advice and guidance as it becomes available, so we encourage everyone to read the information contained here carefully and regularly, and to follow the instructions given.
